Event → claim → source

An event is a chronology record. A claim states the verifiable part of that record. A source shows what supports the claim. A public page shows only claims that have passed editorial approval and their associated publication state.

Verification and contradictions

Different accounts of one fact are not merged into a single sentence. They remain separate claims, receive a status and source links, and disputed cases require a second approval.

Archive and reproducibility

Disappearing pages and documents are preserved as separate snapshots. The public version retains the schema version, source revision and content hash, making it possible to distinguish a changed record from a changed interface.

Editorial boundary

Unreviewed intake, private notes, unprocessed OCR output and media rights are not public content. They pass through a separate workflow and do not enter the public projection automatically.
